By accessing or using BoatMate ("we," "our," "Service"), operated by OrbisWorks (551 Normandy L, Delray Beach, FL 33484), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

BoatMate is a mobile platform that connects boat owners with professional cleaning, detailing, and maintenance service providers. We act as a marketplace — BoatMate does not directly provide boat services. All services are performed by independent service providers.

2. User Accounts

You must create an account to use BoatMate. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration. You may register as a Boat Owner, Service Provider, or both.

3. Boat Owner Responsibilities

• Provide accurate boat details (type, size, location, slip number)
• Be present or provide access for scheduled services
• Pay for completed services through the app
• Provide honest reviews and ratings

4. Service Provider Responsibilities

• Maintain proper licensing and insurance for marine services
• Complete accepted jobs on time and to professional standards
• Communicate promptly with boat owners through the app
• Accurately represent your services and pricing

5. Payments & Fees

Payments are processed securely through the app. BoatMate may charge a service fee on transactions. All fees will be clearly disclosed before you confirm a booking. Providers receive payment after service completion and owner confirmation.

6. Cancellation Policy

Boat owners may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled service for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. Service providers who repeatedly cancel accepted jobs may be removed from the platform.

7. Reviews & Ratings

Both boat owners and service providers may leave reviews after a completed service. Reviews must be honest and based on actual experience. BoatMate reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Creating false accounts or providing misleading information
• Circumventing the platform to avoid service fees
• Harassment or abusive behavior toward other users
• Using the platform for unlawful purposes

9. Limitation of Liability

BoatMate is a marketplace platform and does not perform services directly. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by third-party providers. We are not liable for any damage to vessels during service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid to BoatMate in the preceding 12 months.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify active users of material changes via the app or email.
